The roads in Ernakulam are getting worse and worse. Almost all small roads got full of gutters and all the tar came off and waiting for you to fall in. These roads not only reduce the life of the vehicle, but also helping the riders to deteriorate their health. It also imbalance the economy of the country by creating lot of waste of fuel consumption unnecessarily….
But who cares. The general public is paying taxes in many ways, including the road taxes, but nothing comes fruitful for the general public. Not forgetting about the road contractors and PWD department people making money out of it.
Yes, the roads are being repaired every now and then. I mean to say, the roads are being every 6 months at least and the money goes to some guys pocket and road become a hell hole in few months. That is the quality of the work done.
Why can’t the authority to get a guarantee period for the works done? Even a small water boiling utensil you buy comes with a guarantee, but it is not applicable for a million or billion rupee project???? What a hell of a country and rules it got?
